Do you need to update your colors?
Fall will be here before we know it & I have been checking into the new colors for ordering & design purposes. I thought I would pass them along to you so you can start planning your new wardrobe. If any of these colors are your favorites or seem to interest you, let me know & I will design a fabulous set of earrings, necklace, and or bracelet just for you.
Fall Colors for 2009
* American Beauty - true red, great for all skin tones (can we say patriotic?)
* Purple Heart - feel-good color, shows off your creativity - mix of true purple & lilac
* Honey Yellow - warm yellow, just a hint of honeyed beige
* Iron - the new "black" - goes well with all colors in this palette, the brown cast makes it a warmer alternative to gray.
* Burnt Sienna - pinkish, earthy orange & red tones
* Nomad -a beige like/grey color "this color is more on the yellow side than the 'true' Nomad"
* Rapture Rose - still reminiscing fuchsia but toned down with a soft pink
* Warm Olive - yellow-green, kind of like an olive for your martini
* Majolica Blue - dark teal but softer than navy
* Creme Brulee - neutral color (soften than white) - "this color is a little off but the closest color wouldn't show up"

Here is a new bracelet design I started yesterday & was able to finish today even with my terrible headache. I got stir crazy & needed to finish this design instead of relaxing.
I love the skull & cross bones button. Now I have a bracelet to go with my bluish/purple ruffle dress.

It's baby time!
Need a baby gift? My baby plates are great personalized presents to the new parents for their brand new little girl/boy. Having it personalized to match the nursery is always a cute idea.
** If you do not know the sex of the baby by the time of the shower - I will be happy to make up a gift certificate & when the baby is born, then the parents can give me all the exact details for their personalized plate **
This particular baby plate is for a couple who work at Caterpillar & just had a baby boy. I also paint cute matching pictures on the back of the plate.

The new Right-Angle-Weave
Multicolor Fruit Loop Bracelet
Right-Angle Weave Bracelet in Multicolor. This bracelet reminds me of the cereal Fruit Loops because of the roundness and the all the fun bright colors!
I made a toggle clasp for this adorable bracelet out of peyote stitch. This bracelet is almost 7.5" in length.

Right-Angle Weave Bracelet in Multicolor. This bracelet reminds me of the cereal Fruit Loops because of the roundness and the all the fun bright colors!

"Right-angle-weave" Choker Necklace. Beautiful choker in black, white, crystal, and nickel seed beads. This necklace is truly lovely & elegant. It is a little over 12" long. I chose 2 buttons for this necklace which gives you the option of wearing the necklace 2 ways; with the buttons in the back or in the front.

The New Sassy Shag
A new Sassy Shag Bracelet in Silver!
My third Sassy Shag Bracelet. I love making these beauties. They are so much fun and get so much attention. If I have one on, I get compliments everywhere I go & they are normally the first design customers look at when I have them on display at shows.
This particular bracelet has one layer of fringe instead of two. I had not intended to do that when I started but I actually really like it. Either way, they are fabulous bracelets. What happened was, I ran out of beads but I really wanted it finished so I could display it at a show, so viola - the 1 fringe layer sassy shag. (I have 2 layer shag bracelets in hot pink/silver & gold/gold). I added a great button I found online that has a girl with a little puppy dog. I originally saw a similar set of buttons in a local bead store but didn't find one to "my style" but when I saw the puppy, I fell in love. I'm a huge puppy dog lover. I think it looks great with this bracelet.

A bracelet for everyday
Silver & Gold: how can you go wrong?
I used a combination of the colors along with a fabulous vintage crystal button I found when I was cleaning out my grandmothers sewing closets. It works perfectly with this bracelet. I was finding so many of the new crystal buttons were too shiny and this one had just enough "depth" to it that it is the perfect fit.
