New Earrings

I have finally gotten my new earrings on my Blog - now it's time to post them onto my website but it has very hectic this time of year.  I hope you understand.  I have a few Chandelier earrings I'm really wanting to make.  I have a few certain styles I'm looking for as well to work with so that's on the 2012 issue.  I almost wrote 2010 - I'm trying to go backward.  Let's not do that.  That was not a good year, health wise for me.  I'm hoping everyone has a healthy 2012.

Newest Pieces to come out of the new kiln

New Pottery fired in my new kiln.  I'm getting used to working with it, along with my parents help!  It is a fairly large kiln & can fit many pieces but I'm still too nervous about putting shelves on so right now we're still doing one shelf at a time ~ working our way up.

B27 I love Referrals Round Box



 This is a sample of the round boxes that the class of 1961 received as their present at this year's Moweaqua Reunion.  They were the 50th year being honored.   My mother & Carol Smull + their committee did an excellent job & I was commissioned to do the gifts.  I made them at a lower price for them & gave the rest as a donation.

Where can you find these items?

You will be able to find these items in Downtown Decatur at the 9th annual XMAS ARTicles 2011.  If you are unfamiliar with this, let me explain.  Arts have to be invited to participate in the Decatur Area Arts Council Artists' Holiday Sale. 

Normally this event kicks off during the Downtown Christmas Holiday Walk which is Wednesday, December 7, 5:00-8:00 pm. This year they started it on December 2nd and will run through December 29th. 

Location: Madden Arts Center - which is located in the Decatur Area Arts Council Artists' Holiday Sale
Dates: December 2-29, 2011

Time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday (hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
