I love the finish line!

I think my favorite part of making something myself is seeing the piece come to life. Many times the hardest part for me is picking out the color combination. I may want a certain color for the time of the year, the clothing that is in style, what I think will sell, or what I think I would want to wear right now. The very beginning stages often look nothing like the finished piece and it always fascinates me how beautiful and wearable the design turns out when it is finished. How these tiny beads that get lost in my carpet turn into these wide bangles or stunning necklaces keeps me making more & more. I will admit I do get frustrated & want to throw the piece across the room or out Ella's doggy door but I usually restrain myself and just set it aside for a while. This way I can come back with a more relaxed attitude, if that is possible.
