Time for ruffles?

My newest creation! I took this class on Right angle weave from Amanda at McM Designs in Decatur, IL. I'm just now getting around to finishing it. Actually I started over once I got home so the piece I made in class is now a key chain! I'm not going to waste my new learned techniques. This was a 3 step process in the necklace. I made the middle layer & then added a layer of ruffles on each side (step 2 & 3). I tied it together with a lobster clasp and 3 jump rings on each end.

I used multiple seed beads in amethyst and pinks so it is perfect for Spring! Right now it is 1 layer but I'm contemplating adding another layer to give it a fuller look. My dad likes it the way it is but I like more of a focal piece at times. What do you think?
